verizon getting the samsung galaxy S 2

Wait Wut?????? LOL yeah it's true, the tbolt gonna seem like a paper weight when this day comes. Wait WUT? yeah yeah you will what? I know!!!!! CRY

Its a false rumor. Who really cares anyway?

Is it really a surprise that as time goes on, better phones with better specs will come to Verizon?

Actually it only makes sense that the GS2 will be on Verizon at some point (I'm thinking late summer/fall). Verizon had the GS1, so it only makes sense that they would get the sequel. The only thing is, it will reportedly not be LTE compatible. Samsung already has the Charge for LTE, & the way it looks for now no manufacturer will have more than one LTE phone.

So while it will be a great performer, it will not be the all out top of the line like everyone thinks it will be. While the phone may outperform the Tbolt in terms of processor & gpu, once it switches to connectivity (ie browsing & downloading), it will fall short.

There could be a backlash because Samsung will be pushing this as the be all, end all of phones. Uninformed consumers may wonder why it's not as fast as some phones when using the internet or downloading, simply because those phones have LTE.

Willdogs is correct. In time (which seems to be getting shorter and shorter) a new device will come out that trumps the previous in specs. It's called PROGRESS. I'm sorry, I guess I don't get the "Something new is coming out that's better than what you got. Are you gonna cry?" It makes you sound like the girl on the Best Buy ad "You bought the wrong TV sillyhead".

The Galaxy S 2 without LTE on Verizon? I hope you really don't believe that. All the new premium phones are going to be LTE on verizon. Believe it or not

I'm open to explanations why this thread even exists in the HTC Thunderbolt section, but they had better be good or it's moving to Android Lounge. ;)

Well it's a thunderbolt competition phone. it's one of the big boys that will hang with it or surpass it. It's a tbolt eater, it's superior even lucky I mentioned the tbolt in the same sentence with the galaxy S 2, geez.

I had the Galaxy S Captivate on AT&T for a month. Sucked bad.

I returned it (Thanks, Amazon Wireless!). I also would not have a Samsung phone again.

I did, however, purchase a Thurderbolt today, from AmazonWireless. $129, free shipping. 20% off on service with my corporate discount. Couldn't say No.

So where is this verizon galaxy s 2 phone at? I see it in none of the stores yet? So how can it eat something when it doesnt even exist. Why not wait till verizon gets the phone. Then you can preach up on high of how superior it is. Also hopefully it wont be like the first Galaxy S phone that had a screwed up gps on launch date that took them forever to fix.

I will gladly thank 1000 of your posts if you would please move this thread from the ThunderBolt section to make room for something useful.
