Root [Verizon] GS3 unfortunately, ___ has stopped.

Hate to say it, but that might have been part of the problem.

so pacman rom somehow failed, then i tried flashing cleanrom 5.6 again with system wipe & md5 check, the log said:
E: signiture verification failed
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/CleanROM 5 . 6 . zip
updating partition details . . .
Installing '/sdcard/CleanROM 5 . 6 . zip' . . .
Checking for MD5 file . . .
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.

what is the solution to this?

Just a thought...either try a different recovery or, unroot, then reroot and flash a Rom?

actually, I've done that yesterday. i came to TWRP from CWM, used Data wipe to delete EVERYTHING from my phone, flashed JB 4.1.1 stock rom, rooted, flashed a rom with TWRP. I have no idea why this is happening to me thou..

ugh i'm so frustrated.. i've flashed back to JB stock rom, got it ready to go back to the store, hopefully they'll just give me a replacement phone without too much "solutions" that i've already tried.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR HELP! It was great having you guys on my side. I'll let you know if there's anything that goes wrong or anything. Let me know if you come up with any other solution, it'd be good to have it here for anyone who struggle like I am. I will try the solution out if i still have the phone by then. Thanks again guys!

btw, do you guys' phone crash or reboot when you're doing stuff at setting>Application Manager? mine does every time even after with stock JB. i'm gonna take some pictures and take it back tomorrow. let me know!

Interestingly enough, after intentionally causing my phone to reboot around 10 times going into the applicatiob manager, it no longer crashes. Not sure what's going on thou since I am looking forward to replace this phone. I'll let you guys know if anything happens

Yes, let us know what happens because what you are experiencing is not the norm.
My phone does not crash, even once when going into anything, let alone manage applications.
:)

So it was just temporary fix, I tried it more and started to crash again and again. I just talked to Verizon guy and he couldn't replace it for me since the store doesn't have any technician. I'll be going to another store with technician to replace it tomorrow. I still have no idea what's causing all this, but it sure did freak that Verizon guy out. For anyone who has this same problem, plz take a load of screen shot before taking back to the store to scare those guys haha.

Hopefully I get a good phone tomorrow. Thanks everyone for helping me out. I didn't want to return it, but this seems to be the best solution. Thanks a lot guys !

probably will be my last post :P

today, I went to a verizon store. not sure if there was "technician" since all the technical stuffs were through the phone. the guy at verizon talked to a technician through a phone about my situation (i didn't really have much chance to tell everything cause i was in a rush), the technician somehow gained control of my phone (without even having my phone! crazy!) checked memory status and apps. then i got to talked to him (i blasted out everything i could think of, it really didn't matter what he wanted to know haha), soon he gave me how things will work out and got the shipment on the way! took about 25 min total in this whole process. I'm glad things went well without them trying to fix it forever. there seems to be no detectable cause of all this problems. :P

well, that got long... so guys, if you're reading this thread to fix your phone, i recommend you to just return it! i'm not sure if i'm getting a new phone or a refurb phone. i will update it as soon as i get it; i was told that it should get here on tuesday, but the shipping info said it's estimated to get here by monday :D ... so this isn't the last post....

thanks again everyone for helping!

so i just received my phone.. all i got was the device (no battery, back cover, charger or anything). so i think we can conclude that they will not give a "new" phone ever; even when they're selling a new one for 1 cent with contract.
well this phone seems to be somewhat better, but it's not as flawless as it could be. hopefully doesn't do what my other phone did. i will root and flash this phone soon. i don't think i will run into anymore problems :P. thanks guys for sticking around :)

I would hope you had your battery/cover/charger from your first phone:p

Does it appear newer? I hope you have better luck with this one:D

Yes. I flashed Pacman 4.2.1. Seems great. I just had some mini heart attacks when some settings crashed but I assume it's because I can't control some settings in specific way due to the mix of roms :P so far I'm very happy to finally experience the greatness of Android phone finally!
