Root [Verizon] Help avoiding big data use w podcast app?

I used to be able to download podcasts and sync to iphone without any data charges. Using the Beyondpod app on Galaxy has been far and away the biggest hit on my data plan. Looks like Verizon even charges when I download over my wi-fi? Any possible solutions much appreciated.

Maybe it is going back and forth while downloading. I would just turn off your mobile data when downloading it and see how that goes. If you are pulling from WIFI you shouldn't be charged for that.
