Root [Verizon] How to update TWRP

I saw that there's 4.4 for the Note 2 and it said I have to update TWRP to 2.6 to flash it or my phone will brick.I can't seem to update because there's a 500 internal error.Any suggestions on how to update?
 
A 500 internal error is an error with the web server. (To find out what error is, you [or the webmaster] have to read the web error log.) It's not something you can do anything about, except to report it to the site it happened on.
 
Hey everyone, I hope every one of you all had a good and safe thanks giving celebration.

I would like to upgrade/update my twrp recovery to the newest version available. I am running 2.6.3.0 but I believe that in order to flash the 4.4 kitkat ROMs I would need to update my recovery... I tried through the goo manager app but all I am getting is the same version I already have installed. I also tried going to team wins website. I downloaded one yet every time I try to flash it from recovery I get an unsuccessful installation. What am I doing wrong? I am very thankfull for any advice &/or your suggestions. Peace

If its in the form of a .tar file, you need to install it with ODIN.

I think I looked around on the twrp site yet feel as if I did, although I can't seem to remember doing so. I will take another look when I get home later. Would you happen to know what version of Odin should I use?
