Verizon jelly bean

[RickyDavis1051]

Sorry if its been asked but, when is it supposed to be released to big red?

[motoracer1486]

Soon.

[RickyDavis1051]

What's "soon" mean?

[Papadroid]

Once you figure out what Verizon's "soon" means, please let us all know too!

I think Motoracer put that as a joke because nobody ever knows what Verizon's soon means. Verizon rarely gives a hard date on anything.

Ahh okay gotcha, thanks!!!

[motoracer1486]

Yep, all we've been told is literally 'soon.' No specific timeframe was ever mentioned.

I could be wrong but wasn't it Samsung that announced "soon"?

So first we need to find out what Samsung's "soon" means, then we need to find out when Verizon's "soon" is.

Sounds like international phones might get it in October. I'd guess that would put our update in the December/January timeframe.

today i was browsing the web for a friend to find out why the "update widget" has an "N" on it and we stumbled across this article talking a little more about the "soon".....

http://www.popherald.com/20121007_samsung_galaxy_s3_android_jellybean_update_coming_soon-20080

and if anyone knows what the "N" means id love to know thanks

International people got their jelly bean just recently. Waiting on the USA carriers to get it.

International people got their jelly bean just recently.

If by "International People", you mean "People in Poland with the International GSM model", then you'd be right there. However, 99% of general international users haven't heard a peep yet.
