Root [Verizon] Liquid Smooth Just Bricked Me

Following these instructions from Liquid Smooth:

Coming from another ROM:
- Flash a recent Recovery
- Copy GApps and Liquid ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash Liquid zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- AFTER FLASHING LIQUID AND GAPPS DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!

I have just managed to brick my S3. It will not turn on.
Pulling the battery and trying to power up (in regular, download, or recovery mode) flashes the Samsung logo for a millisecond and then nothing.

I even tried inserting a USB jig to no avail.

(Of course Odin doesn't even know I have a phone).
HELP!

Update:

A battery pull finally enabled me to get back to Recovery where a Restore got me back to previous rom (Synergy).

Any speculation as to what might have gone wrong? I'm pretty darn sure I followed the directions correctly. Although it is odd that the wipe/reset is done after the install.

DOH! No, sorry, that wasn't the Liquid Link. Too many browser windows opening and not enough mental bandwidth.

(Have since closed -- and forgotten -- the link).

I do the factory reset BEFORE I do the flash/install of LiquidSmooth and GApps. I haven't installed the latest LiquidSmooth (2.5?) though. I have 2.2.

Yeah im not sure it matters when you do the reset/wipe as long as you do it before rebooting.. i always tend to do it before flashing incase i forget :)
