Verizon may be adjusting plans/rates after all...

Let's hope it's not like AT&T's scam that would give me 10GB for $130 for 2 phones - when I'd actually be paying $210. Numbers don't lie, but the people who use them can.
 
It's a very weak attempt to be more competitive. Only the 500 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB plans will see a data increase, and only Edge customers will see a price drop. They need to do a LOT more.

Agreed. This looks like a reactionary move for the sake of doing something after AT&T dropped their rates.
 
They just updated me from 2GB of data to 3GB so it has started. More to come from the sounds of it. Hopefully it will be much more competitive.
 
Meh. I used to be the biggest VZW supporter. Now that they have abandoned loyalty to their grandfathered users? Not so much. If T-Mo had better service out here, I'd jump ship in a NY minute. I still may.
 
If they could give like 7-8 bucks for 1 gig of data, or even 750 meg, I'd finally get my mom a smartphone and teach her how to use it.
 
How's AT&T in your area? Aio Wireless has a unlimited talk and text plan with 2.5gb high speed data and throttled after that for $50 a month. $45 if you sign up for the auto pay. I've been thinking about leaving for that.
