Root [Verizon] Messaging app missing

After flashing CarbonROM I notice the stock messaging app is missing. How do I go about (TiB?) restoring (sideloaading? How-to?) that?


EDIT: NM. Figured it out! It was there, just a different icon... DOH!

Did Carbon Rom not come with it? I find that hard to believe..that a rom would not come with a messaging app.
Perhaps a reflash?

Yeah, it was just ME...the icon changed and I didn't 'see' it in my drawer...at first that is - UNTIL I posted the thread

Got another issue tho..(another thread?) when I use the telephone whether outgoing or incoming, the phone app doesn't show my recent calls??? What's up wit dat?!

Sorry I've been gone most of the day doin' some fam stuff...hope you had a great day/weekend and time to kick back and R&R...

Actually no, I've not found anything but you are prolly right though, I'm overlooking something somewhere!

Have you tried Carbon yet? It seems pretty snappy, and have only had one or two small hiccups with an app freeze or two. All said, I like it

Back to TW! Contacts kept FC, Google Now wouldn't let me speak a command like "Call XYZ"! I have had nothing but smooooth, STABLE experience with CleanROM so, back at it! :smokingsomb:
