Root [Verizon] Mobile Hotspot and New Update

Hello,

I just got a brand new G2 (due to broken phone) via the insurance I had on it. The phone accepted the update (VS98026A) right away as it should as planned. I then rooted using Stump Root -- no problem, root verified. I then copied the modded/patched hotspot .apk from my old G2, called "HotspotProvision.apk" to the new phone (same folder, /system/app) after renaming the original .apk and .odex files. Now, I open the hotspot app fine, but when I actually try to turn it on (slide the button to "on") the app crashes, saying com.lge.mobilehotspot.ui has stopped.

Anyone know what to do?
