Root [Verizon] Need help for ROM install (first timer).

Hi everyone. Newbie here! I am not super tech savy, but i would love to root my Galaxy S3 from Verizon. I followed this link from previous posts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2046439 . I just want to make sure this is still a good link, and i see the step by step instructions. I want to make sure i just follow each step (following each link it gives me) I'm really worried about bricking my phone! Do i need to take my SD card out before rooting? and for Step 1, #3, it says "Root Only", "unlocked bootloader only" or both (recommended) i'm assuming i choose the third one? i'm really nervous about this!

yes that link is still good. and leave your SD card inserted. yes used the third option. sorry for the short answers. I am on my phone right now. just read the guide carefully. and ask any questions if you are not clear. I will log onto a computer later on tonight. otherwise there are other folks who can help out also.

great thanks! computer is on low battery so i will probably try this tomorrow! i just know when i looked on some that my build number was different letters than others?
