Root [Verizon] Need help unrooting

I bought a Verizon LG G2 for my girlfriend used. I didn't know it was rooted. I tried to install a system update and it took me to Team Win and I can't get to the phone software. I don't know how to reinstall the stock software and the instructions I found on XDA might as well have been written in Klingon. Can someone help?

[FIX] Installed TWRP and now you're stuck after OTA? - xda-developers

Use the instructs for using the built in terminal in TWRP. When you choose that option, look for a / at the top of the directory that shows up, then press the lower right button, I think it says "select" if memory serves. Then enter the command in the box.

That will not unroot you but it'll allow regular boot again. If you still want to unroot, I'd use LG Flash Tools and the proper tot/dll.

Thank you! That did the trick. Now I need to find instructions for unrooting that I can actually follow because so far the ones I've found have not been intelligible to me. Or, I need to find someone local who can do the job.
