Verizon nexus extended battery s3

Does anyone know if the extended nexus battery works in the s3? Are there any differences in the 2 batteries?

Not same size, based on other posters. Do not know for sure though. I use the Hyperion 4000 mAh and it performs proportionally as advertised. Too big for some folks and borderline for me.
