Root [Verizon] NFC error issue with Google Wallet (Rooted)

I went ahead and rooted my S3 last night and have run into a couple of issues after installing Google Wallet that I wanted to see if anyone else had come across.

1. When going to Settings > More Settings > Mobile Networks the phone freezes followed by the "process.com.android" stopped error.

2. After installing G Wallet I get the sporadic "Unfortunately, NFC has stopped" error. This only became a problem after executing the Google Wallet install found on xda. Luckily I nandroid before the Wallet install so I reverted back to that, cleaned cache/dalvik, and then tried again. However the issue returned again.

Has anyone else run into this issue? It basically renders the phone useless as it stalls constantly (even with NFC turned off).

Did you factory reset after Rooting your device?

These issues sound like something that could be solved with a FR, which will delete all of your data.

Hope this helps :)

Yeah I did a factory reset and went through the whole Wallet install process and still had the same issue.

I'm thinking about just re-flashing the stock rooted rom through Odin and trying all over again although the NFC issue only occurs after I've completed the Google Wallet install. Wallet itself is working but I get frequent random NFC stopped errors that are frustrating.

Whale I was just about to post that I had to go back and re-flash VRBLJ1 (4.1.1) and then flash the updated JB Google Wallet procedure found here:

The previous method must have only worked for ICS. Anyhow, this has cleared up all the force quits I was having previously (NFC and otherwise). Looking forward to testing it out now.

Which of the downloads should be flashed if you are using the root injected stock LJ1?
