Verizon phone compatible with Sprint?

Can I run an unlocked VZW phone on Sprint or am I just dreaming. I like the moto droid line and was wanting something like that but need to go with Sprint due to work discounts.

No they run the same but Sprint will not activate a non-Sprint phone.

He's right. If the ESN is NOT in Sprint's database, they will not activate it.
