[Verizon] Problem with franco kernel updater

I unlocked and rooted my GN. I flashed the 4.0.4 radios on my stock rom and then downloaded the franco kernel updater from the market. I ran it and picked autoflash but it just gets stuck at the google boot screen. Couldn't get past it until I restored my back up. What am I doing wrong?

Open Rom Manager and flash recovery on your phone, then you can use it.

Toward the bottom you can buy the touch screen version for about $2.... very nice.

Instead of restoring your backup, a battery pull would have probably done the same thing.

If it's any help, I know it can be done. I've just done the same myself. The only difference is that I also have the 4.0.4 ROM installed, not just the radios. I used both the auto flash and manual method just to try them out. Both worked for me. I have CWM Touch installed.
