Root [Verizon] Question about clockwork mod recovery

I've had my VZW GS3 since launch and kept it stock until now.

I have rooted my HP Touchpad (now running JB) and DroidX in the past so I'm not completely new to rooting but it's been a while.

I followed the instructions here: http://androidforums.com/verizon-ga...-samsung-galaxy-s3-all-things-root-guide.html

and successfully rooted which included installing ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.2.3

I've installed titanium backup and am uploading my backups to google drive.

I'm contemplating ROMs and was looking at ROM Manager which I already own because I used it on the touchpad.

When I open it on my GS3 it won't let me do anything without installing ClockworkMod Recovery, and says "Install the recovery through ROM Manager first".

Is it okay to install CWM Recovery again since I already have it installed and running after following the instructions I linked first?

On a related note, are there pros & cons to ROM Manager v. Rom Toolbox? I already own Manager but if Toolbox is significantly better I could get that, too.

I remember updating CWM recovery thru Rom Manager. But since I switched to TWRP, I update that thru Goomanager.
I also have a little problem flashing roms with an app such as Rom Manager. Perhaps it's just me (since RomManager on my old Evo was a no-no) but I always flash roms thru a recovery.
I would surmise you would be just fine installing CWM recovery thru RomManager.
I just don't understand why RomManager thinks that you do not have a recovery installed?

Perhaps there is a new update to CWM and wants to install it?

Can you boot into recovery just to be sure it is installed?
