Root [Verizon] Rooting after JB update

I've read through the update sticky on the forum and understand it pretty well except for one possible issue. I'm use to the HTC Evo side of things, but now my daughter has asked me to root her S3. She upgraded to JB via the OTA update and I thought I saw something referencing a different rooting method(other than the sticky at the top of the forum) after the JB upgrade. So my question...Do I use the upgrade on the sticky or something different??
