Root [Verizon] S3 keeps forgetting contacts!

My S3 frequently forgets my contacts and only a reset brings them back. This is very annoying and should be an easy fix for someone who knows what the problem is. I am running stock android 4.1.1.

What do you mean forgets? If you go into the contact app do your contacts sometimes show up and other times do not show up?

I will go into my contacts and there will be none. Even if i choose display all i get nothing. And if someone from my contacs calls or messages me I just get their phone number and no contact info. If I reset the phone they all come back.

Make sure you go into your contact app and then menu then contacts to display and select "all" and see if that helps

As previously stated I have tried that and still got nothing. This usually happens once per day that I have to reset the phone to get my contacts back and the wierd thing is it isnt just google contacts or anything like that its all of them, even the ones stored on my sim card and backed up on my sd card.

I've had weird issues similar to what you're experiencing. My fix was to remove the rear cover; remove the battery, remove the sim card & the sd card if you have one. Put everything back in & reboot. Solved my connection to my pc issue.

I've seen complaints like this in the past when contacts are stored and accessed on the sim , but I don't recall this happening with the goggle sync. Anyway you could try not using the sim at all? I've been cdma for so long, I don't remember how to do this.

Tried this with no success unfortunately.
