Okay...here we go this is my first post 
I have purchased an ALREADY FLASHED, ALREADY ROOTED Fascinate, but the number on it obviously isn't mine. I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the number to fit the one on my account. I have never done this before, so if this includes needing to have a donor phone with a clean ESN, I have that as well.
Being rather weird, I purchased two Fascinates, the other not being rooted or Flashed previously.
My Questions:
1.) Is there a way to simply change the number on an already rooted/flashed Fascinate/Galaxy S/Mesmerize?
2.) Will it be easier just to "Donor Flash"?
3.) Or is it just best if I start a fresh Flash with the other Fascinate/Galaxy S/Mesmerize? (While looking for a way to change the number on my already flashed Mesmerize/Fascinate/Galaxy S, I noticed people had lots of trouble of getting this done. Do I really want to go through all that trouble? I mean, I payed $90 for both, thinking it would be a good idea/not being informed that MetroPCS no longer offered their oh-so-famous flashing service.)
I understand the illegal-ness of some of the methods (cloning/flashing/rooting/bla bla bla) I have requested, so please, NO LECTURING. I hope I can get some useful answers, for I know I may not be the only one having this issue recently. Big thumbs up for any help.
P.S. I'm a total noob at flashing and such(I am much more familiar with rooting terminology), so newb/noob friendly please? Thanks so much!!
