Verizon SIM in Nexus 6P

I'm in a Verizon contract, but I want to get a Nexus 6P. If I take the SIM out of my current Verizon phone and put it in a Nexus 6P, will I get service?

If you already have a nano SIM it will likely work. If not just go to your Verizon store. They had two different nano SIMs and their computers told them only 1 of them would work. No problems getting the, to activate it though.

I don't know what physical size a "nano" SIM is, the one in the S5s I have sure aren't very big.

I was just interested in borrowing a Nexus 6p to try and play around with it and compare it to my S5... I have the itch for a different phone, but am an inborn TouchWiz user. Never had anything but Samsung.
