Root [Verizon] [Solved] Error flashing anything

So I finally got my old S3 to a usable state so I thought, why not give a KK ROM a try?
Well, I've tried flashing two ROMs thus far (Slim Kat and CM11 nightly) and both have given me errors (I believe the same):

set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error executing updater binary in zip ' /extern (it cuts off here)
Error flashing zip '/external_sd/cm-11-20140830-
Updating partition details.....

Is something in my SD card corrupted? Does the S3 need some sort of bootstack/bootloader etc flashed before flashing a KK ROM?
Going to move the files to internal storage and try flashing from there, see if it make a difference.
I'm currently on an old Beanstalk 4.3.x ROM right now.

Edit: And flashing from internal SD gives me the same error.

Okay, little Googling goes a LONG way folks!

Update TWRP to 2.7.1 and everything flashed just fine. (I was on 2.6.x).
