verizon st phones?

im looking at changing from Virgin mobile, to st. I want a verizon phone.

1 What is the best verizon straight talk phone? I will more than likely root and install custom rom.
2 tos? I heard that st doesn't allow streaming? how do they block it/do they block it(or you just on the honor system? is there a way to work around the blocks?

I haven't looked to see if they have added more Verizon network phones recently... but I think it is still only the LG Zip and Samsung Proclaim. The Proclaim is clearly better specs, but there are some who just insist on a physical keyboard that the Zip has.

You can root the Proclaim, but I don't think there are any true custom roms for it yet.

As for streaming... go for it. They don't block and Straight Talk themselves have said that using apps like YouTube and NetFlix are acceptable.

I believe it's sprint. Verizon never actually got the gs2; it was actually the only major carrier that didn't.
