I used this rom. I thought it was ok. I prefer the stripped rom by invisible i believe. Waiting on better roms...

Don't know what happened to you on it, I'm on day 4 and not a force close yet. I forgot to charge it last night and still had some juice left this morning. I would like to try out that tablet version, if they would get rid of those space eating soft keys. Beans is doing great work. Invis is the father of VZW S3 root, gotta love that. We have Boosted Azz and lean kernels, Mmmmmmmm. Now that they found a workaround for the kernel\bootloader issue, we are going to get some even sweeter stuff. I actually think Touchwiz is alright, maybe after coming from blur I would like anything though. :)

One thing is for sure, we have some sick devs working on this, if you don't like what's out there, at this second, it won't be long.
 
Testing it out now. It's fast, but my phone was always fast. I like a lot of the features though. I have a question about call recording. I recorded a test call, but can't locate the file, any idea where it saves the recordings too? I don't want to register an account at rootzwiki just to ask a single question. Thanks.

Edit. Of course, shortly after posting, I found it. It's in the "voice recorder" app.
 
This rom is probably one of the best out right now for the vzw gs3. I have used all of them and this one seems to have the complete pack. Beans and invisiblek's are both very nice roms too. I used cm10 which was nice and fast but didnt have all the features that I liked with the stock rom. This is a good combo of custom and stock, where you get all the features of stock but none of the bloat and a lot more tweaks to performance.

you need to put it on your phone, the phones storage is call sdcard and when you have an sdcard in your phone that is called mnt/ext/sdcard. You should put the kernel on the phones storage(sdcard) not the sdcard you have in your phone(mnt/extsdcard/).
 
Hi WhoDoo Voodoo,

What does the LeanKernal 9.6 give you that the Synergy ROM does not? I am a newbie with a Verizon Samsung S3 running Synergy 1.2.

If it will benefit me without affecting this awesome battery life I now have, can you tell me in a more detailed way how to apply this LeanKernal 9.6?

It will just speed it up. It allows you to overclock your processor. If you have never done anything like that before maybe you would just want to use the kernel already on EZ recovery. Just download EZ recovery from the market. Then download voltage control from the market. Use EZINE recovery to install the new kernel. Then use voltage control to set your minimum and max speed you want.
