Root [Verizon] Tethering on cyanogenmod?

I have been running cyanogenmod for some time now and know tethering works. I was just wondering is it safe to tether. I don't need to get billed. :p

Are you on an unlimited plan or one with a data bucket?

I ask because you're allowed to tether on plans that aren't unlimited

If you do have unlimited, you just have to make sure you don't go crazy with it.

I'm on a share everything plan and have 6gb of data.

The Verizon share plans explicitly allow tethering. The per-device fees are only for the devices that connect directly to Verizon via LTE or 3G radio, so there's no charge for a WiFi only device (like my Galaxy Tab). The only charges for tethering is the actual data usage.
