Root [Verizon] TiBu AFTER a flash

Android Expert
Curious...

Why do I usually (always?) need to go to Google Play to retrieve my TiBu app after I flash a different ROM? Is there a way I can be sure it is on the device at all times?

Can be saved on SD card, but I don't do this, because if sd card gets corrupted, I assume latest TiBu Backup would not work (couldn't get it on phone, as SD card wouldn't work....).

Free version or paid, Play Store will keep your backups safe

Wouldn't it already be on the internal sd? If yes, how do I go about executing the app from there instead of having to go to the Play Store to get it? Just trying to understand :):dontknow:

Sure you could install titanium as a system app, but every rom is different, either way there isn't a way to avoid this.

The section where you go to do a batch backup/Restore, on further down the list there's an option to make a Flashable zip file of your apps too if your interested in that.

Is that the "update.zip" feature?

I think so, and I suppose that would save alot of time if you flash alot.
For me, I don't flash alot, so it's no big deal to download TB from Play and restore my apps.
But that's just weird 'ol me :p
