Sorry to rain on your hyperbole, but that's not quite accurate according to the figures for the last two years.

While sales of units has increased, it has lost both growth and market share to Android.

Now, this is not and Android vs. Apple thread, so let's get back on topic and take the chest thumping to the appropriate thread.
