[Verizon] Total noob question about sync settings...

So, I flash a new rom. I don't click "synch with google" or whatever so that I can restore my apps from titanium.

Now I want to turn the synch back on for obvious reasons... where is that setting? If I go to my accounts, sync, everything I want is already checked... did titanium restore my old sync settings? Is it somewhere else?

On my ROM (AOKP) its under settings> backup & reset

Are you on stock?

I'm on the new Vicious JB thing that's floating around.

I went there, my gmail account is in the settings, and both checkboxes are checked. So I guess I'm back on sync. This JB flash has not been my smoothest rooting experience ever...

I see.

Understood. Makes total sense as this is a leak/port zip made from a backup of a GSM GN. In other words pre-alpha hackery of a ROM. You went all out if this is your 1st rooting experience ehh?! :p

Well welcome to rooting!

Not quite my first, just the first time where I had problems.

In the past, using mostly liquid ROM, things just worked. This one gave me all sorts of boot hangs and whatnot. Seems to be working well now though.

Sadly, as nice as some of the new features may be, I miss my liquid rom tweakability.

Yup I know what you mean. AOKP is the same way. They are ROM's built from source which we don't have yet for JB. Soon enough we'll get to enjoy some solid Jelly goodness. I miss AOKP's tweaks as well. Seems like a snail though compared to JB
