Help Verizon trouble with mobile data

Just picked up the SG3 on Thursday. Everything seemed OK until this morning (although I was at home on wifi all weekend).

This morning I suddenly started getting time outs on mobile data. Any data app just would hang trying to load forever. I would see data transferring for a second or two, then it would just stop. Hitting refresh would cause a quick data upload, but no further download.

I tried disabling 4G and forcing 3G/CDMA only (poor 4G service area anyway), but the results were the same. These symptoms would last anywhere from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, then data would suddenly work fine again for a few minutes, then quit again, etc.

This has continued all day.

Anybody else experienced anything like this? Wifi works fine.
 
This has been a fairly common problem with the SIII on Verizon. Try a new sim. It fixed it for me.
 
Same problem here with 4g. How are using stopping the 4G. I use the"phone info" app from play store to stop it and use cdma auto prl and works fine on 3g. But this stinks because I never had problems with thunderbolt.

I'm using the same app to switch, but it didn't change the behavior in my case. I still had the random dead times even when forced to 3G.

Now I'm home and it seems completely fine (turned off Wifi to test it some more). I'll see if it happens again when I'm out.
