Root [Verizon] Twrp taking a lot of space?

I'm having trouble updating games/apps because it seems like twrp takes up a bunch of space and app2sd doesn't wanna seem to work with the Note 2.Any ideas?

Surely TWRP lives in the recovery partition? Or do you mean that your nand backups are taking space? You can copy some of those off the device, or will it work with the backups on external sd (don't have one myself so can't test)?

You can usually figure TWRP takes up at least 1 gb for every nandroid you make.

I keep them on an ext. sdcard, if available.

I had only one backup though :/ so didn't understand why it took so much space.I had like 555mb left then when I moved by backup it was at 4.5gb

Must be all that Verizon bloat.... :D

Turning on compression when you make a nandroid would help too. The default is no compression.

The twrp site has a list of recommended partitions to backup. Do you have everything checked? Also export data to an external sim so it is not included in the backup. Eg you downloaded 5 roms to sdcard0. The will be included in the backup.. Clean shop..
