[Verizon] VZW Nexus Update question

Hey guys,

Simple question that can probably be answered quickly. If i'm running a stock, rooted 4.0.4 IMM30B and the next update comes out IMM76D or whatever happens to be newer, if the update is pushed over the air will i still receive the notification to update? And will it break root?

Even though your rooted you will still get OTA updates; but if you flash a ROM that's when OTA update will have issues.

you will still receive OTA updates if you are on a stock ROM with stock recovery. accepting an OTA may or may not break root. you would be much better off waiting for a dev to release a rooted build. it usually only takes them a day or two.
