Root [Verizon] Went back to stock rom

Ok. I am finally back to the stock rom on my Verizon galaxy S3. How do i get around the sim card? And MMS seems to not work correctly. Running the phone on ST. I was told to stick just any sim card into the phone as long as it is not an verizon sim card. Just to trick the phone. Is this correct? I have not done this until I am told by you guys if this is the right thing to do. I do not want to hurt my phone. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm confused what you're trying to do. If you're trying to bypass the sim lockout there's a certain order to touch the screen I believe. Something like bottom left, top left, top right, bottom right. I could be completely mistaken. I know you can do that with the OneX.
