Root [Verizon] Where do my ROMS go when I download them? Also MediaServer Problem

I have been using CM for a while and when I hit "install" in TWRP I find it in a folder called CM UPDATER. After having issues with CM, I downloaded JellyBam but I can't find it when I am in install. How can I put them where I want them? Also when I find it and flash jellybam do I have to flash gapps like CM10?

I have been having a heck of a time with CM. I tried to flash it and it kept having problems like the keyboard not working so I couldn't even get through setup. Then once it finally got running I went to softball and the battery drained in the time of the game and the phone was super hot.

What is the most stable rom out there? I just can't go back to touchwiz after using CM.

I like CarbonRom myself. Just flashed it a couple weeks ago along with Gapps.

See my sig for a link to it:)

And as quickaudi said, if you downloaded it via your phone, look under downloads. ;)

I personally like to download it to the computer, check the md5, and transfer it to my external sd card.

I should have stated that I checked the downloads. There are actually two folders: Download/Downloads on the external card. I can't find them in there.

Have you tried the internal card? Many Roms will default there

Check inside the 0 folder on your internal card for any other downloads folder

Also, of you happen to be downloading from tapatalk it'll be in a folder called tapatalk_downlods

I've checked it all guys. I'm pretty sure I just clicked on every single folder.

I'm getting more nervous about this media server thing because I just wiped everything and re flashed and I'm getting the same problem. Battery over 105 degrees as soon as it turns on.

I'm downloading carbon rom now from the qr code. I hope I can find it.

How do I know what gapps to download with it? When I click Gapps on that site it takes me to a chart for different CM versions.

I solved the issue of finding them by just flashing directly through goomanager.

I'd really suggest staying away from that app (or any app) for recovery functions.

It CAN mess up, and then your phone won't boot and you still won't know where your ROMS are located.

Its a bandaid, not a solution. :)

Hm. Well I heard about that app somewhere on here I though.

It worked perfectly downloading carbon/gasps and flashing them. My problems are solved as of now. The rom is working great and no mediaserver in sight.
