Root [Verizon] Why do I keep getting "OUT OF SPACE" notification?

So im trying to install some apps....but I cant. I keep getting the OUT OF SPACE notification. I have plenty of space! 10gb free on the phone sd card and 23gb in the external sd card. So whats going on?

How many apps do you have installed now?
How many text messages do you save? Have you tried to clear some caches for the browser/s? Do you have alot of game save data?
Just throwing out some ideas:)
Can you post a screenshot of your memory usage screen?

The 23gb on the External Sd, can't be used for Apps. Just saying.

Did you flash a JB version 4.2.x ROM and then flash an older JB version 4.1.x ROM afterward? If you did, you may be experiencing the issue I recently read about where doing this fills up internal memory with "/0/0" subfolders. I'd have to find where I read it, but it causes the S3 internal memory to get filled with duplications of files in nested subfolders with the name "0". Has to do with 4.2's ability to have multiple user accounts.

Edit - here it is

Apps around 15
Text around 15 different contacts with text ranging from 30-500
Cach Yes I cleared it

I feel like this is more of a memory thing then storage thing...cuz as stated I still have about 10gb left on my sdcard and around 20gb on my external sdcard

Thank you for the research...but I had this phone like 3 weeks ago and it came with GB 4.1.2 so when I rooted it, it was still running GB 4.1.2

Just a note
SynergyRom r373 xda thread has a few notes on the toolbox that was added to installer. In the notes it Treve says that some files can be corrupted via reboot, disconnect while transfering, etc, but that you can run some of the tools to correct it. He said that if the file was corrupted that if you truef to copy it again it would not delete the original file any fill up space. I'll look for the post.
