Root [Verizon] Wireless Tethering

I keep reading old posts about there being issues with tethering. I am running 4.3 stock (rooted) on my GS3 and I cannot see to get it to work. Are there any fixes for this yet?
 
Have you tried Verizon's hotspot app?
I have had to go to the Settings to turn it on a couple times, but I use it frequently.
 
I am pretty sure that requires an additional fee on top of my data fee. I was trying to avoid that. The Wifi Tether Router app works perfectly though
 
Oh really? Do you still have to subscribe to it or something? I remember it telling me to do something of the sort
 
I finally found the link I was looking for. Unless you are still on their old unlimited data plan they cannot charge you for tethering. It was an FCC ruling in 2012 because of the bandwidth they bought.
 
No I just started with them a could months ago.
Since you are still unlimited you can't subscribe but there is a couple good apps for it.
