verizon wont give me employee discount help!!!!

So my husband been working in his company for two year recently a year ago the name of his job was switch to a different name we was waiting for our contract sprint to be over to get with verizon since through his job he gets a monthly discount of 22% off activqtion fees waive discount on accesories etc etc so we finally did the switch got our phone so three days ag o ill go set up the account at the store they only they only ask for pay stub and id well the new paystubs of course have the new name but on their system the only way they find the discount is through the old company name well the little stupid very rude girl refuse to help us because the names dont match on the computer How can i prove to them with documents what else can i bring to prove them he works for the company i want my damn discount we only switch for this reason help pleasr any ideas????

Unless you can get your husbands company to inform Verizon of thier new name I don't see how you can prove the new company name is indeed the old company name. Maybe some court documents showing the companies name was changed legally, but I doubt your husbands company would release them to you.

But, you said "the little stupid very rude girl refuse to help us because the names dont match on the computer". So, I have a question for you. If you owed a person named "Tom Smith" $100, and a man named "Burt Doyle" came to you and demanded the $100 you owed Tom Smith saying he changed his name, would you give it to him?

If he has a corporate email you should be able use that to get the discount. Assuming the email hasn't changed (or the old one still works/it's being forwarded).
 
What euph said, I believe when I signed up I had to use my corporate email address. If you don't have that, I think dirk is correct, you will need to work with the company to get that fixed.
