I found this while browsing xda on ideos x6 sections and flashed it its very clean and clear touch screen doesnt work but it seem service does because virgin mobile pops up when i boot with a little work maby a touchscreen driver can be ported? and one can be sent to me so i can port?

try replacing the boot.img with austrie's miui v4 and see if that makes the touchscreen work.

Why are we working on this if Gannon has a port whit the only two things wrong is status bar and no ril? Did you get a black screen while installing? It ddnt boot for me after i replaced the boot.img

Austrie hasn't been on for a while not much has been happening but I found this and every thing runs smooth and calling and SMS seems to works but touch screens not working

Wait how do you know every ting runs smooth and that calling and sms works if the touch screen doesn't?

Also gannon5197 has a test.zip of MIUIV4 in here http://androidforums.com/triumph-all-things-root/512912-feel-like-contributing.html wifi works on his but the status bar, ril, and wallpaper changing doesn't.

No no no.... look inside the folder /system/usr/idc and replace the files in there. Then you also got to do a couple things in /system/etc also. I'm gonna look at it now.

I just flashed and it said that I had virgin mobile service. I couldn't test anything cuz the touchscreen isn't working.

I'll try using this as a base and reporting back with a zip. It seems that a lot of things are working already, so it shouldn't be too hard. Although I've never heard of touchscreen not working (but then again, I've never flashed a ROM that wasn't made for my phone)

The ideos x6 uses a different touchscreen driver than the MT that's why it doesn't work on the MT without modifications.

it is because of touch screen uses different driver, You can use Austrie MIUI 4 boot.img for touchscreen...!!
