Wow last time I checked this section out there wasn't much going on, I was actually going to buy this phone but decided on the OE instead. But now yall go people like mrg666 here and things are rockin'. I think i'll be keeping my eye on this section now lol.

Just wanted to say hi from the Optimus Elite side of the tracks :D

Hi! An AOSP ROM in order for now. I am not working on it yet though. Anybody?

I know it's the the acronym for android open source protocol, but the noob in me doesn't know the difference between that and other varieties. :confused:

I'm not sure what it would be classified as, but you might want to cross paths with superboy4444; he said that he's gonna be working on a v2.6 for his PartyTime JB rom...but it'll be when he's got time. I think he might have school goin' on right now, so he's got bigger priorities...

Just a thought..

Peace,
Sox

AOSP= Android Open Source Project.

This is the android you find on nexus devices

Its android the way Google wants it, and its used as a starting point for AOSP-based ROMs like cyanogenmod, paranoid android, and AOKP(android open kang project)

Generally speaking- its lighter, faster, and better in battery than most manufacturer skinned android ROMS
