Is it normal for the phone to be around 40 Celsius while charging?

Yeah thats warm but not bad. Mine usually charges between 29-35. If 4g or wifi are on while charging, or if phone is charging in sun it gets up to 42.

Yow mine is at 29 right now, connected via wifi and using tapatalk black background to help conserve battery.

Mine was at 125F yesterday just with oovoo video chat and wifi on with some facebook browsing
