Apps Very New To App Development

Hi All,

I am very new to this forum as well as Android development. I have .Net coding experience.

What I am looking for as a starter is someone who can help with the development tool installation ( i have tried but its not working as shown in the youtube video). I was following this video :

I would really appreciate if anybody can guide me personally, instead of redirecting to any website link, so that i can ask some question if i get confused.

P.S. - If this is not the right place to seek for help, please advise me which thread or forum to use.

I have this installed but i cant start developing an app since none of the platform used in the youtube videos match this platform.

Please help, if i need to install something else or how can i start developing app using this platform.
