Why are all my pictures so blah, colors are faded like and i have to doctors them since I am so embarrassed of the results. Wish I could show a sample but no options for that.

Havr you cleaned the lense or are you shooting through the clear flip cover? If so make sure it's clean. I found that out the hard way.
My note four does ok with pictures. Press and hold in areas toy want thr camera to adjust exposure for. Like dark or bright areas.. .might help.

Make sure it's in auto mode and be sure to turn HDR to auto

Yeah, they both are on. It uses to take really nice pictures, I even put them on instagram and got "likes", but no more.
