VHS capture app?

For a while now I've used a USB capture device to capture VHS video to a digital file, and I have a VCR beside my PC specifically for that purpose. But what about Android. It seems to be getting a bunch of mobile market share, so why can't Android developers make an app for transfering VHS signals to a digital file, and to do that there would have to be a joint effort from the capture devices companies to make a micro-USB capture device for Android, and the developers to display the output on the device. Maybe a plain old USB port for the capture card companies to make Android USB capture devices would be nice, since CES is going to be reveal Android tablets, as well as Windows 7 tablets. To have a VHS capture solution and an Adobe Premiere Pro like video editor for Android would be killer, and make me want to go to Android for my mobile computing needs. A Microsoft Office-like suite for Android is welcome as well.

Because the usb port on all android phones does NOT have host support, meaning you cannot plug another device into a phone.

Not to mention, NO phone out now has the hardware or cpu speed to capture real-time video. Heck, my dual core 1.8ghz computer sometimes has trouble capturing.

Again, Premiere is a highly cpu intensive program. It can barely run on a lot of new computers today, let alone a phone.

A Microsoft Office-like suite for Android is welcome as well.

...and analog capture (there's no reason the OP's suggestion has to be limited to VHS) is effectively a small, specialized niche.
