At the moment VIATUN supports Android 2.0 and higher. We do not support Android 3.0 Honeycomb at the moment. And we try hard to announce new version for Android 4.0 in the nearest future.
 
Most of my friends are asking about the VIATUN project: Why I am there?

The story was started in April, 2010. My friend is living in Usbekistan (Former USSR republic in Central Asia). They have low level ov cellular network coverage, especially 3G. Also they have a number of limitations for web access (like in China), some web resources are blocked. People are not so rich and the only objective information source is an Internet.

So, our idea was to provide ALL people (and not only in Uzbekistan) with cheap, high speed and open web access through mobile networks and WiFi spots.

We spent almost 2 years to realise that and we hope that world community will support us with this social project (VIATUN).

Some users are mailing to our support trying to install the application on the unautorised version of Android OS. We decided to implement the manual system of settings for such kind of clients. Coming soon.

Due to a number of requests from owners of devices with Android 3.0 and other custom versions of Android OS we have added an option of manual configuration of VPN. Manual settings are not so comfortable as mobile application but this is the way to access to our VPN service.
