viber on android 4.0.3

Hi,
I installed viber on my new Samsung galaxy s2.
I finished the installation and received a sms with the code and enter it into the program.
But now, when the program is started, it only shows the black screen and nothing happened.
I tried to reinstall - but received the same problem.
My galaxy runs android 4.0.3.

Thanks.

Do you have the i777 or the i9100? Because 4.0.3 was not released (or leaked) for the i777 (and I dont think it was leaked for the i9100, either) so you can't be running that.

Thanks,
I have i9100.
When i installed viber on my phone ,my friend received the notification that i joined viber.
When my friend tried to call me from his viber he received viber message that my phone has old viber version ....

if you are, in fact, running ICS 4.0.3 then Viber is obviously not compatible with it. The only thing that you can do is clear data on the app and reconfigure it (or just uninstall/reinstall the app completely). maybe something got fubar'd during initial install/configuration

I am sure that my phone is running 4.0.3 ( i checked it in about section).

I see now that not all apps are compatible with it.
Android 4.0.3 becomes base version of ICS; not all apps ready to roll | Android and Me
so may be viber is among those applications.

I tried to uninstall/reinstall but the problem still remains. My wife also has another same mobile (we bought 2 mobiles) and she also has the same problem with viber.

So, How can i resolve the problem of compatibility like that - if there is any solution?

I had the same problem on my GNEX (4.0.2 not rooted).
I just upgrade and seems to work now. I will test some calls and messages to see if working...
hm, not very happy with the latest version 2.1.4... seems very unstable, crashing...
