VIBER WI-FI PROBLEM (HELP please)

[psychks]

I can send messages through viber using our home wifi but when i go out and find some public wifis, i cannot. I've tried if the wifis work by opening my twitter or even facebook. i can even search google. The wifis work. but why can't i send viber messages? it only allows me with our home wifi, why is that?

EDIT: my phone is samsung galaxy s3 if that would mean something.
