I'm sorry if this was answered before but i couldn't find it anywhere,

I have a mytouch 4g and was wondering what the news widget that is on the vibrant that shows the news and weather from your local area,

also if its avail to be extracted and used on other devices.

Thanks

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I have the Vibrant and it has an app called Daily Briefing. It uses AccuWeather.com for the weather and APmobile for the news feed. I'm assuming you can go to AP and get the app for their feed?
Hope that helps.

Yes that is the name of the app and was wondering if anyone knows if it will work on the mytouch 4g. I found the apk file but it wont install on my phone,

I found AP Mobile in the market. Crappy feedback, says the last patch wrecked it but, the one guy with a Mytouch 4g says it works great.
