Help Vibrate and Haptic problem

I'm having a problem with my vibrate and haptic feedback on my phone. Vibrate and haptic work until I'm texting and it goes out randomly. Doesn't work when I touch the screen and doesn't vibrate when I get calls or messages. It randomly comes back on. I'm using Incrom 1.2 and doesnt matter what kernel or keyboard i use. Is this a hardware problem? Ive tried reloading the rom and trying different ones from scratch and it persists. Im on my 7th Incredible, would rather fix than replace if at all possible.

Funny because my issue is that the vibrations and haptic problem has to do with the hardware itself. It seems the cover/case of the original phone causes a "clicking" or "rattling" sound while I use the keyboard during the vibrations. Its sooo annoying.

Sounds like a rom issue, try reflashing or a different rom.
