Vibrate during calls?

Since there is no notification light on this phone I prefer to have it set to vibrate whenever I receive a text or email. Anyone know if there is a way to suspend the vibrate command during a phone call?

I was on the phone with AT&T yesterday cleaning up my account and the rep was sending me texts of the changes she was making as we are making them. It was very uncomfortable to say the least to have the phone vibrating right next to my knoggin.

yes, no, maybe.

the best i can offer is under settings, call, alerts on call. uncheck/turn off alerts on call.

my personal logic is it be either vibrating or tone alerts, this will turn off all alerts on a call. however, it says "alarm and message notification will go off during a call".

however, it is NOT defined if this is for vibration or not..

To have it vibrate for incoming text messages: hit your text app icon/menu button/settings/scroll down to check vibrate.
