Help vibrate mode and sound mode

i have galaxy s3 4.1.2 jellybean i turned on "also vibrate when notified" in message settings, but i only want to vibrate it when in vibrate mode only. how can i turn off vibrate in message in sound mode?

Doesn't look like you can. The phone will always vibrate if the setting is turned on for it to vibrate for notifications in the messaging settings
