Vibrate not working?

Over the past week or so my phone will intermittently stop vibrating (incoming calls, messages and screen vibration) and then start working again if I smack the phone on my hand or leg or something. Not sure if my phone has just started acting up physically or if something with ICS is causing it. Anyone else experiencing this?

I had this problem. Same way your phone is acting. The vibrate motor was going our. Verizon sent me a like new replacement. When I called them, they made me try all kinds of stuff including factory reset. Nothing worked. Good luck to you

Yeah I kind of figured it was something physical and not software related. But figured it didnt hurt to ask. I just did a factory reset 2 days ago so I know that didnt fix it. Guess ill have to call for a replacement. Thanks
