Help Vibrate Only vs Ring Mode

Before the KitKat update there was a nice feature on the home screen when you were not logged in to change the phone between vibrate only to ring mode. This no longer exists by default. Is there and easy way to switch between these modes now?

Turning the volume all the way down should put you into vibrate mode. Or look in your widgets (or in Play) for a widget that can do it for you.
